A strange message has been sent from Earth to a star located more than 1,111 light-years away. This message of contact with the distant star also becomes a journey into the deepest recesses of the human being, establishing communication with an embodied, material, and cosmic self. This self also reveals the form of life on a planet that ceased to exist long ago: Earth. P.S. for the End of the World is an experimental short film that explores various mixed media, including stop-motion animation, motion graphics, audiovisual code, particle modeling, natural glitches resulting from data processing, errors in technological tools, and manipulated captures. It is based on an expanded poetic text that also functions as a screenplay. It is, in turn, both audiovisual material and an expanded poem that uses QR codes to intervene on the screen, offering viewers the opportunity to access the texts and interact with them through a website.
